Palestinians: Israel Do Ethnic Cleansing in Jerusalem

In commemoration of Nakba, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas made a speech and accused Israel of ethnic cleansing in the city of Jerusalem.

Keith Wright at the age of 95 years, were hungry for the adventure. He even became the oldest man in the world who travel to Europe.

He had never enjoyed a trip abroad until the age of 85 years. But now a veteran of World War II is ready to travel.

The oldest is now ready for adventure backpacker again for 2 months to Madrid, San Sebastian, Paris, Munich, Vienna and travel to England to see the race at Royal Ascot. He traveled after his wife's death.

Wright even had prepared everything. He also keeps its pension fund to finance a trip to several places in the world every year.

"I love traveling. All my life I always wanted to go to Gallipoli on Anzac Day, so I decided to sell the house and save the extra money for a vacation," said Wright, as quoted by Orange, on Tuesday (05/15/2012).

"Previously, I've seen places that most tourists do not see. I always ride the train or bus to a nearby town. Most people I met were surprised when they find out my age and was amazed that I came all the way from Australia," he added.

Wright boarded a plane to fly economy class and sometimes share the lodge with 18-30 people. Total, over the last ten years he has been to 23 countries and 109 cities. Which became his favorite place was San Sebastian in Spain.

"Any recommendation that I give him an inspiration to me. I want to tell his story to other tourists, especially those who always think they are too old to travel abroad or fear of the cost is too expensive," said travel agent Wright, Christina Kerr.

NATO Asked to Investigate the Death of Civilians Libya

Human rights monitoring organizations urged NATO to conduct investigations into civilian deaths in air strikes on Libya last year.

Human Rights Watch believes that NATO air strikes killed at least 72 civilians and stated that the organization should be responsible.

"We call for an investigation into a fast, reliable and thorough," said Fred Abrahams of Human Rights Watch told BBC News.

NATO insisted on making efforts to minimize the impact of civil society.

They also claim can not be responsible because no one can confirm the number of deaths.

NATO aircraft made a surprise raid last year, with the goal of troops loyal to Colonel Muammar Gaddafi.

Last March, another human rights organization, Amnesty International, said it had record number of victims killed in airstrikes that 55 people, including 16 children and 14 women.

Amnesty expressed disappointment because of NATO's failure to investigate the case.

The bottom line campaign by NATO air strikes on Libya last year was to protect the civilian population, so how many number of people killed is still a sensitive issue, such as the BBC's diplomatic correspondent reports, Bridget Kendall.

Details of the evidence

In a report published Monday (14/05/2012), HRW said it had studied the details of the evidence that claims of civilian deaths in eight separate air strikes carried out NATO.

One case, the first thing mentioned NATO bombing killed 14 people, and the second bomb, shortly afterwards, killing another 18 people who were helping the victims earlier.

Abrahams stressed that concerns the authors of the report was not offered the family compensation.

"Until now, NATO is still denying it," he said.

"They refused to provide information about how they died and refused to investigate, and there is no transparency".

"I think this will make the civilian deaths are useless, because if in the future of NATO refused to admit their mistakes and fix them".

NATO says ready to cooperate with the new Libyan authorities.
